Place of migration
Migrated to/Born in USA

My ancestor, Ann (Anne or Anna) Archer married a John O'Brien (GG grandfather) and emigrated to the US before 1844.  They settled in Albany, N.Y. (poss. emigrated via Canada/St. Lawrence) and had a son there (Patrick Henry O'Brien) in March of 1844, and another son (John Charles O'Brien, my G grandfather) around 1850.  I do not know for certain that they were married in Ireland before leaving but suspect they were.

I don't even know what county they came from.  However, I have an excellent candidate from Fethard, Co. Tipperary.

My candidate Anna Archer was baptized 6 May 1814 in Fethard, Tipperary, daughter of James Archer and Francisca Needham.

I believe this Anne Archer is the person who married John Breen (O'Brien) on 29 September, 1829 as there are so few Archers in the area.  However, she would have been only 15 years old, so I don't know if that is probable.  (Comments appreciated)

Again, because of the dearth of Archers in the area, I believe this couple are likely the parents of a Mary O'Brien baptized on 7 September 1834 in Cashel, Co.  Tipperary.

I am unable to conclusively prove this couple are my ancestors (GG grandfather and GG grandmother), nor am I able to find any other records in Ireland for this Archer/Needham family.  Did this Anna Archer have any siblings?  Did they have any children?

I would be deeply grateful for any suggestions, and especially grateful for knowledge of any descendants!  If you are aware of other Co. Tipperary Archers who may be descended from this family, I would be grateful for any leads.  Thank you!
