Born in Clonaneese Co. Tyrone to William and Betsy (nee McWilliams), Ann came out to Sydney, New South Wales with her husband Thomas Rea and children William, John, Wilson, Eliza Jane, Rebecca and David (all born in Clonfeacle Co. Tyrone). Arriving on 23 October 1841 via the New York Packet. They settled near Bathurst and she died on 8 May 1881 at O'Connell Plains NSW. She was buried in Bloom Hill Cemetery.
