Born in Abbyderg, Tagsheenod Parish, County Longford in 1813. Father Was James Warde 1770-1870 (tithe applotment 1834 Abbyderg), married Michael McGarrell in Carrickedmond Church April 25 1836. Emigrated to US in 1837. lived in Jonestown, Cass Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania 1843-1892. Anne had several siblings. Thomas Ward 1816-1895 married margaret mcCormick and emigrated to the US in the 1860s. It appears that she had brothers James, Christopher, and Frank who along with Thomas rented land with Michael McGarrell in Aughnasannagh townland (tithe applotment books 1834)
