Anthony was married to Sarah O'Hagan and had three sons who came out to Australia in 1850s - James, Isaac and Anthony.

On one death certificate here in Australia, a birthplace of Rathfriland, Co Down is noted; another has Downpatrick.

  • Hi I am posting from Australia. I have a John Mcconville marrying a Mary Mooney in Clonallan County Down about 1826. my ancestor Bridget Mcconville tried County Louth for stealing on several occasions...mostly ducks and chooks along in company with others. She was tried and sent to Van Diemens in 1851. She had a child with her by then.   I beliece lots McConvilles in Coutny Down.  Lorraine Carter
