Bridget was baptised in Cashel on 21 Mar 1827
She migrated to Australia aboard the 'Credenda' which sailed from Southampton and arrived in Geelong Vic. in 1853.
She married Thomas Benstead at St Mary's church Geelong on 21 Aug 1856
The couple settled in the Curlewis area near Geelong
Bridget gave birth to 11 children.
She died at Curlewis on 24 June 1886
