Bridget was born c 1861 to Michael Doherty and Susannah Reynolds probably at Ennistymon as not in Miltown Malbay register where younger siblings' baptisms are recorded.
She emigrated to Australia on "Zamora" in 1882.
She was married to James Murphy in 1886 at St Stephens in Brisbane, had 4 children and died of breast cancer in 1892.
She is buried in Nudgee Catholic Cemetery in Brisbane.
