I am not sure if this is the correct Bryan Morrissey, but it is the only one I can find connected to Castlecomer with the dates being correct.
Bryan married Catherine Beard date unknown, but the baptism records for their 7 children have all been found. Bryan and Catherine are my Great (x2) grandparents on my mother’s side. From the Baptism records of their children it appears that they lived in Clashduff.
My direct ancestor is their eldest son Michael (28-9-1836 - 23-6-1895) who arrived in Sydney in 1863 and married Elizabeth McCourt (Born 13-08-1843 in Desertcreight, Ireland - 23-02-1900) on the 10-8-1869 in St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney. They had 3 children and the 2nd William Thomas Morrissey (27-12-1872 - 19-09-1924) is my Grandfather.
