I believe he was born and lived in Trim, Meath.
Bryan was born about 1797 and married Bridget Dempsey about 1828 and they had seven children.
Bryan was deported on the Westmoreland to Australia in 1838. His eldest son Patrick, aged six, accompanied him.
His wife and three of the children joined him in 1847. They had another son in 1849. I don't know the names or what happened to his other children who did not go to Australia. When he was sentenced for being in possession of forged notes, newspapers reported he had five sons and two daughters. I don't know the names or what happened to the others who did not go to Australia.
He died in Australia in 1863 and Bridget died there too in 1891.
Bryan died in Wellington, New South Wales, Australia on Sep 11 1863 aged about 66. He is my third great grandfather.
