Thank you so much for the help in this . I do know all of the children except Margaret arrived here in the US. In the same place Catherine's brother James lived. I believe I may have found information that Margaret died at age 3 or 4 in June 1874 the same month and year her sister Catherine was born. As for Michael Hourihane he just seems to have appeared and disappeared I haven't found anything on him. I know he existed but from there? I do so appreciate your help.
I do have a question though. If Margaret drowned as the family says would there have been an inquest and how would i go about getting that information?

Frank,
You have been such a great help. I had found a little of that but not as much as you did. I am so greatful.
Patty
Hi Patty
I found the death of Margaret last night on Civil records in the second quarter of1874 at the age of three years old. The record did not give the cause of death. I hope to check the archives of the Southern Star, the Skibbereen Eagle and the Cork Examiner for the inquest into her death in the coming days and will let you know if I find it. I thought I had sent you this info last evening but could not find it this evening.
Frank.
