Hello Christina,

Thanks for getting in touch. I would love to share information on Ellen Kennedy.

Ellen Kennedy and Edmund Kirwin were my 2x Great Grandparents.

They immigrated in 1852 on the 'Sir George Seymour' with their children Timothy Kirwin (my Great Grandfather), Johanna Kirwin, Patrick Kirwin and Bridget Kirwin. As far as I know Bridget aged 4 died on the voyage.

Ellen's brother John Kennedy also immigrated to Australia. He was baptised in Clonoulty 1 Apr 1809.

He immigrated before Ellen, her husband and children. He came in 1850 on the 'Ramillies' and died on the Goldfields of Young, NSW in 1861.

Ellen and family had joined him on the Goldfields and Ellen's husband Edmund was the informant on his death certificate.

I have lots of info on them related to their time in Australia. Nothing only baptisms that I have found via Findmypast and Ancestry of their life in Clonoulty, Tipperary.
