Jack Donoghue was born on 9th Nov 1871 to Joseph Donoghue and Norah Shea of Ballynabloun, The Glen. Co. Kerry.
He inherited half the farm and Jim his brother had the other half. He never married and moved to Breaghig, Waterville to his sister Mary Curran a year before his death. He died on 28th Dec 1942 and is buried in Keel with his parents and sisters. Jack was a good dancer according to people who knew him.
