James Murphy born Newmarket c 1862, emigrated to Brisbane, Australia in 1885 to join his brother Dan & uncle Dan Brennan. His parents were Timothy Murphy & Julia Brennan who may have lived at Scarteen townland on north side of Newmarket. He supposedly had a large family who stayed there but I can't find them. His maternal grandparents were James Brennan & Ellen McAuliffe & there were 2 Brennan aunts Ellen & Kate who also emigrated to Brisbane and one Mary who went to Mobile Alabama plus an uncle Jeremiah who also went to USA.
