Jeremiah Howard's daughter, Catherine Howard, was my great-great grandmother. She left Kilfinane for London during the Famine. She remained there about ten years and then immigrated to the USA, settling in New York. Her father's name is on a marriage record and both parents' names are on her death record. She said she was from Co Limerick. DNA shows me related to descendants of Jeremiah Howard and Maria/Mary Tobin of Kilfinane. I would very much like to hear from any relatives or friends of the family. Or anyone who can add more to the story. Thank you.
Jeremiah Howard is in Griffith's Valuation. I also have found baptisms for six children of Jeremiah Howard and Mary Tobin but I believe there were more.
