Johanna ( Joanie) Gleeson Kelleher was one of my 3 x great Grandmothers. She was born in 1808 and died in 1809 and lived through the great Hunger (un Gorta Mor). Johanna was also the aunt of Johnny Tom Gleeson who was a poet and wrote a poem called the Bold Thady Quill, this was later turned into a song. Johnny Tom was the son of her brother Thomas Gleeson.,
