John Britton born about 1801 was a calico printer who died in the parish of Campsie, Stirling County, East Dumbartshire, Scotland on 19 December 1870. He was married to Jane Dinwoodie and was father of Jane Britton who was at his side when he died and Mary Britton.
John Britton was the son of Henry Britton cotton spinner and Margaret Workman Britton and was born in Belfast.
