I am searching for information on my 2nd great-grandfather, John C. Dougherty.
He was born in May of 1845.
His father may have been Pat, born about 1820. Some records show his last name spelled Doherty.
His mother may have been Kate Halloran, also born in about 1820. Her name is sometimes listed as Catherine. And sometimes her last name is listed as Hall.
John may have had a twin sister Margaret born in May 1845. (Baptism date for both 13 May, 1845)
And/Or he may have had a sister Margaret born in 1844 (Baptism 18 Feb 1844)
Any help in finding out about him or his family would be greatly appreciated!
