Edward Dinsmore b.1836 emigrated to Canada in 1865 with his older brothers Arthur, Joseph, James and later Frederick.
He had stowed away on the ship. Once discovered his brothers decided he would be sent out to work in the Quebec woods as a lumberjack. They carried on to Toronto, and he followed later. He married Sarah Thomas who was originally came from Belfast. They had three children, Edward Jackson, William Harper and Effie May. Only Edward married Isabel Maybee, and they had 3 children as well - Frances Effie, Edward Wellington, William Laurence. Edward Wellington Dinsmore was my father
