Hello
I will be in Ireland the week after easter. Can you tell me if the Dromcollogher Library would be a good source to continue my research? And, would you recommend another (or better) site to explore?
Thank you in advance,
Susan
John Drew (1806-1869) married Margaret Fitzgerald (1807-1894) in 1834, then the family emigrated to the US in 1851 AFTER 6/7 children were born. Marriage document states location was Dromcolligher-Broadford, Limerick. Witnesses of their marriage were named as John Drew and John Dwyer. Any information regarding John and/or Margaret or extended family would be sincerely appreciated as I have little to go on other than as describe above and below. Church affiliation was Roman Catholic.
Children (all except Edward born in Limerick):
1. James Drew (Bap. 04 Dec 1834)
2. Mary Drew (Bap. 12 Jan 1837)
3. Patrick F. Drew (Bap. 04 Jan 1839)
4. Margaret Drew (Bap. 30 Mar 1844)
5. Helen Ellen Drew (Abt. 1844)
6. John J. Drew (Bap. 13 Jun 1846)
7. Edward T. Drew (b. 1853-1911)
Warm regards
Susan
