Did John H Driscoll remain in Co Cork, or go to America? There is a John Driscoll age 35 b Ireland in Lisbon, St Lawrence County NY in 1860 living close to my immigrant Michael J Driscoll who was 40 in 1860.

John H. Driscoll 1824-1883 emigrated to New York City with his mother Johnna and siblings Johanna and James in 1837 aboard the ship Spring. He remained in New York and Brooklyn for his entire life. His mother lived in NYC and died in 1848. I don't know where the siblings went. I have many Driscolls in my family, but no Michaels. The only possible one outside of the NYC area is Johanna Driscoll who moved to Rome, NY. Possibly John H's sister. John H. married Catharine Ryan, maybe the daughter of Martin Ryan. Do you have any Ryans in your family?
