She was the daughter of Thomas Hennessy and Bridget Cleary Hennessy. John and Bridget Walsh's Son, Edward was born about 1855. Location of birth may have been Ireland, Iowa, or somewhere in between. The John Walsh family appears in the 1860 Manchester, Delaware County, Iowa census. I am looking for information on John's place of birth and his family. Some stories say he may have been from Galway.

years to find John's birthplace. Do you have proof that he was born in Maryborough, Queens
Co.? Did Queens used to be Laois? This sounds like "lore" that has been circulated through our family for years! Bridget was from Tipperary.
