Married Mary Anne Dunn(e) in 1880 at Dum Dum in India, assumed she died in India prior to 1893. Son born in India1881.Joseph returned to Irelland(Kilkenny/Wexford )and remarried Johanna O'Donaghue on 10 April 1893. They were living in Walkin Street, Kilkenny. In 1894 he joined the Militia 5th Battalion, Royal Irish Regt. In 1911, they were living in Robinsons Lane Waterford.
