My Great-Great-Grandfather was Lawrence Fanning born about 1827 in Tipperary. He married Mary Stapleton born about 1832 in Tipperary. They went to the Channel Islands (Guernsey) where my Great-Grandmother Mary Elizabeth Fanning was born in 1855. The family migrated to Australia. Could there be any connection? Marie Stewart
