Margaret Dockry (1816–1882) of "Kimbo" (Cambo aka Canbo) was baptised in the parish of Croghan on 15 Aug 1816 with a Thaddy Dockry and Mary Connor standing for her as godparents.
Margaret's parents were Dennis Dockery and Mary Mulhern (Mulheran) of Canbo who married circa 1790. When RC records began in 1812 (following Catholic Emancipation) only their later children were recorded: Brigid Dockry (b.12-Jun-1812), Eleanor Dockry (b. 09-Aug-1814), Ann Dockry (b.25-Aug-1819). Denis & Mary favoured the following neighbors as godparents: Thomas Collins (m. Mary Kelly), Brigid Burn (m. Patrick Mulheran), Patrick Collins (m. Mary Lavan), Elizabet Berne, Edmund Moran (m. Catherine McDermott), Margaret Mulheran.

By 1825, Margaret Dockry had married Patrick Brennan of Canbo and this couple had the following children:

- Charles Brennan (b1833),
- Peter Brennan (1834?–1884),
- Thomas Brennan (1835–?) of Mullinduff,
- Margaret Brennan m. John Beirne of Strokestown on 24-May-1875.
- Eliza Brennan (1838– 1908) aka Eliza Higgins of Scregg
- Catherine Brennan (b1847).
In or about the time of Black 47, her husband Patrick Brennan died.
On 14 January 1882, Margaret (Dockry) Brennan "widow of Patrick Brennan, a farmer" died at the age of 79 with Carbery Brennan present at her deathbed.
