I am looking for Margaret's parents Matthew Madill and Mary, I think most likely her maiden name is Anderson but possibly Devlin. I have found a few records with her maiden name as Anderson but one listed her maiden as Devlin.
Matthew and Mary had two other children in Ireland, Jane born in 1828, and Robert born in 1835 but from what I have learned, the Ashfield register records are lost between 1827 and 1839.
Margaret, Jane and Robert emigrated to Scotland, the next time I find them is 1845 when Margaret and Jane marry in Glasgow.
I would really like to find Matthew and Mary Madill, I think they passed on before 1845 when their daughters were married so that would be between 1835 when Robert was born and 1845.
Robert Madill's marriage certificate in 1856 lists Matthew Madill and Mary Anderson both as deceased.
Any help trying to find them would be greatly appreciated!1
