O'Halloran, Sgt. Michael [FAGM# 184389409], on the 21st inst., which occurred while in the discharge of his duty in attempting to raise a drunken man to his feet, he expired from heart failure. He was born in the Parish of Castletown, near Portroe, Co. Tipperary about fifty years ago and came to America when a young man settling first in Philadelphia for some years. Later he came to Chicago where he had many relatives and was appointed to the police force over twenty years ago. He leaves his wife and two sisters--Mrs. John Wade and Mrs. John Lynch. The funeral occurred from his resid., 1993 W. Monroe st. to St. Mel's Church to Mt.
