Michael Reardon from County Tipperary, Ireland was married in Boston, Massachustees in August of 1850. Michael (B abt 1820 - D 1895) and his wife Anna Hayden (B abt 1830 - D 1908) lived in Northampton, Massachusetts where their first two children Richard (B 1852 - D 1922) and Thomas were born. According to the Boston Archdiocese marriage information, Richard was Michael's father's first name and Thomas was Anna's father's first name. The family settled in Troy, N.Y. in 1853. Presumably, they moved to Troy to join James Reardon, (B abt 1827 - D 186? as an Illinois volunteer in the Union Army) a relative, possibly Michael's brother, who resided there. In 1854, their son James was born in Troy, N.Y. In 1858, their son William was born in Troy, N.Y. In 1866, their daughter Julia was born in Troy, N.Y. Based on these dates of birth, it appears that there may have been other children who did not survive.
Michael's death certificate states his father was Richard Reardon and his mother was Julia Casey. Anna's death certificate states her parents were Thomas Hayden and Ellen Mahar.
Their naturalization records indicate that both Michael and James Reardon were from County Tipperary, Ireland.
James and WIlliam Reardon's baptismal records from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church Troy, NY indicate their parents were from Tipperary.
Richard Reardon married Margaret Corbit in Troy, N.Y. Their children who survived to adulthood were: Mary "May", Charles E., Adolphus Joseph and Lillian.
Thomas did not marry. He moved from Troy to the Utica/Rome N.Y. area where his brothers James and WIlliam settled and raised their families.
James married Margaret E. Baldwin. They had 9 children.
William married 1. Catherine ? 2. Esther Baldwin Esther and William had 4 children. William and Catherine had one child, Edward.
Julia married James Riley and had one child, Anna Mae Riley.
