Born between 1836 and 1845 - all calculated from census records and death certificate.
Married Ellen O'Brien in Kilbehenny parish church on 14 Feb 1867. Was said to be the son of Maurice Heenan, a labourer, deceased at the time of Patrick's marriage.
The couple moved to Rhymney, Wales where their first child Patrick was born in 1868. There were a further seven children born.
Patrick seems to have worked in various coal mining jobs. His sons were all coal miners.
Patrick died in 1920. Ellen died in 1915.
