Stayed in Ireland

Patrick Loughery is my ggg grandfather.  He was born around 1782 in Ballinruan near Crusheen, County Clare and lived there most of his life.  At some point in time, he moved his family to Boscobel House near Knockreddan (also near Crusheen) where he died in 1865.

He put up a gray gravestone in the Doon Cemetery for five of his children who died in the 1843 to 1856 timeframe.  As far as I know, only 2 children outlived him -- my gg grandfather Cornelius (who died in 1869, also at Boscobel House) and Mary, who married Daniel Dillon.

I do not know Patrick's wife's name, nor do I know where he or son Cornelius are buried.

From DNA matches, I know that we are related to the Loughery/Loughrey families who grew up in the Callura(gh) townland next to Ballinruan -- and we also have matches to persons that go back directly to Boulafadeen, County Galway.
