The family lived at Kilmoroney, County Laois, Ireland. Michael married Bridget
Hickey bapt. 28 Jan 1807, parish of Athy, County Kildare, daughter of Patrick and Catherine (Ready) Hickey
of Shrowling County Kildare, Ireland. Patrick Hickey and Catheine Ready were married 11 Oct 1804, parish of Athy, County Kildare.
Michael and Bridget left Ireland before 1838 and moved to Heckscherville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
Will be visitng Athy June 3rd to 9th. to do family history

Thank you for replying. I have not gone down the DNA route yet. I have just started my family tree.
I have Julia McEvoy born 1856 Queens Co. (Laois) Ireland.
Married John Kelly 1884.
They had 6 children. Joseph,Christy, Norah, Kathleen, Lizzie & John.They were Roman Catholic.
1911 census they were living in a house in Ballyrider Moyanna Queens Co. Ireland.
Julia would be my great grandmother on my fathers side.

I don't know as of now if there is a relationship. I did find a marriage record for John and Julia (McEvoy) Kelly. hey married 11 Feb. 1885 at Stradbally His fathe was Peter Kelly and her father was Christoper McEvoy. Patrick Dunn and Mary White were witnesses. My e-mail is rmcavoy414@aol.com
