Reverened Edmond Hackett was born c.1782 and died on the 6th of October 1818. He was the son of Edmond Hackett of Kilshenane b. circa 1737- d. 1795 According to records sourced thus far the family residence was on the Tipperary to Cashel road in the townsland of Kilshinane, within the vicinity of the bridge in Kilshinane. Revd. Edmond Hackett definitely had at least one brother called Patrick who erected a headstone in remembrance of him in Ardmayle Cemetery. There are headstone records for both Edmonds in this cemetery in the neighbouring parish of Ardmayle. This is the only information I have regarding the Hackett family. If anyone is connected to these Hacketts I'd love to hear from you or if anyone can just help me out further it would be much appreciated. Since this man is referred to as a Reverend there's a chance that he may appear in some ecclesiastical records; however I do not know how, or if I can, access such records and any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated too.
