My Great Grandfather Robert Little of Drumbulkin, Fermanagh arrived in Queensland Australia in 1878. He married Mary Ann Darcy in Brisbane on n1 November 1880 both born about 1859.
Robert was a farmer. His parents were John Little and Mary Ann Jones. Despite over 30 years of intermittent searching in various internet sources and recently again in Roots Ireland and Griffith Valuation plus hiring a professional genealogist from Ireland, I have not been able to make any headway.
Is there any Little family who had family members go to Australia in 1878? I'm told Robert was a remittance man.
I'd be very grateful to anyone who can add to this information and doubly grateful to anyone who can find a living distant relative.
I am coming to Ireland in September to attend the Ulster Historical Foundation Conference 5th-12th September and then hiring a car for another week. I really want to go to the areas where my great grandparents were raised and it would be a special bonus if someone with local knowledge could guide us.
Is there anyone who is familiar with these areas?

Drumbulkin had Armstromgs. John a farmer from the 1700's, his son James b1923 m Elizabeth Wilson from Derrykeeghan.
The Little extended family married into Wilson's, Armstromgs, Beattie (Beatty). Migrated to the NSW coast.. Derryvullen parish included Derryhillah and surrrounding area. Coi ireland records have in teh surrounding areas show many Little's
