Looking for information on Keeshen family of Roscrea.
Roger "Rody" Keeshen (b 1844, d 1925)
Wife - Mary (McDonough) Keeshen (b 1845, d 1919)
Both emigrated to the US in 1865 with their son Michael and settled in New Jersey.
My GG grandfather, John Judge, was born in Roscrea in 1823; his parents were John Judge and Margaret Keeshan. John and Margaret married in Roscrea in 1814 and they had 13 children between 1815 and 1836. My GG grandfather, John Judge emigrated to USA with three of his brothers: Arthur, James and Denis. I don't know the year of emigration. The brothers settled in New Orleans, Louisiana by 1850 based on US census info. Maybe there is a cousin relationship somewhere in our family trees. My GED is: DY9437089.

Thank you Mary. I checked to see if perhaps Roger's dad (Daniel) or grandpa (Rodger) had a sister named Margaret. They did not have a sister Margaret, but it's probably likely that they were cousins. Roger emigrated to New Jersey from Ireland in 1863.
