There are six Singleton Gardiners that I have found in this region. My GG Grandfatehr Singleton was born about 1781 - married Margaret Livingston and had alot of children. One of whom, my G Grandmother Matilda b 1828. She married Thomas Holland in 1858 and had 4 children including my Grandmother Lucinda (1872) who emmigrated to America in 1890 - an elder daughter Susanna (of whom I have no record after her birth) and a son George who remained in the area, marrying Ruth McAlister and having many children. There was also a duaghter Matilda (b 1869 d 1872). Other sibilings of Singleton left Ireland for Australia and New Zealand.
