My grandfather work on the Little island as a forman/overseer in the 1930s. In 1931 it was recorded in the newspaper that he was in court for alleged assault and when to court for his actions. He died accidentally in a circular saw incident that has left rumours of locally of murder which seems unlikely as the investigation was reported in the papers and court
