Thomas Johnson was born about 1794 in Ballinakill, Liaos, most probably at Quarrymount House.
He joined the Bengal Artillery for service in India. Rising the ranks to become a Sergeant Major.
In 1823 he married Elizabeth Beck & they had a daughter, Isabella Anne Johnson. who married William Waters.
Thomas died at Dum Dum, in India, in November 1831.
