I have just begun to search my ancestry on my mothers line, through my grandmother (McKeever) and it seems to lead to this same man.
Place of migration
Migrated to/Born in UK
Born in ireland 1829 His father was also Thomas McKeever.
Appears,marries and settles in Sunderland 1851 onwards.
From DNA tests might be Antrim/Sligo or Donegal however family history says his father (or grandfather) was a seaman from Waterford and mother ( or grandmother) was from Cork.
Any other Mckeevers out there with similar tales
