Tyrone to Thomas Rea and Hannah (Nancy) (nee Gough), Thomas came out to Sydney, New South Wales with his wife Ann and children William, John, Wilson, Eliza Jane, Rebecca and David (all born in Clonfeacle Co. Tyrone). Arriving on 23 October 1841 via the New York Packet. He was listed as a Carpenter on his immigration record. They settled near Bathurst and he died on 9 March 1886 at O'Connell Plains NSW. He was buried in Bloom Hill Cemetery.
