Timothy O'Keefe born 1888 Castlepark, Kilmihil, Clare, was a son of my grandmother's brother Hugh O'Keefe (1838-1911) and his wife Margaret (maiden surname Murphy) (born abt 1843).
He is listed in the 1901 and 1911 Census as residing at Furroor, Clare.
He married Helena 'Eily' Carmody (1890-1976) on 23 June 1923 at the Roman Catholic Church at Labasheeda, Clare.
The civil record of the marriage shows that Timothy O'Keefe was 'full age', occupation Shopkeeper, address Sorrel Island. His father was recorded as Hugh O'Keefe, a farmer. Helena Carmody was shown to be the daughter of Patrick Carmody, a Shopkeeper of Labasheeda. The witnesses to the marriage were Thomas Considine and Mary Browne. Both signed the register.
After their marriage in 1923 Timothy O'Keefe and his wife Helena 'Eily' Carmody resided in the village of Labasheeda, Clare. They were recorded having the following children:

Timothy O'Keefe died on 11 August 1954 at Labasheeda. His age was given as 68, occupation Shopkeeper, cause of death coronary thrombosis combined with arteriosclerosis. His son Timothy Paul O'Keefe registered the death.
Ellen 'Eily' (Carmody) O'Keefe died on 11 March 1976 at St Joseph's Hospital, Ennis, Clare. She was shown to have been from Labasheeda, age 88, described as a Shopkeeper, cause of death myocardial disease.
Timothy O'Keefe is buried in the old cemetery at Killofin, Labasheeda, Clare. The following inscription appears on the family headstone:
I.H.S in memory of Timothy O'Keefe, Labasheeda Died August 1954 aged 68 years His wife Eily died 11th March 1976 R.I.P. Erected by their loving family.
