William Keenan (1830-1880)
William was born on April 2nd, 1830, He married Catherine Chester on September 29th, 1859, at St. Patrick's Parish, St. Louis, Missouri. He died of liver cancer in his Pub on 2nd and Marceau in Carondelet, MO, where he was the saloonkeeper, on June 10, 1880.
Parents : Michael Keenan and Anne Marie Phelan. The family lived in the townland of Crubeen, Queen's County (CO Laois), Ireland.

William Keenan was my fraternal great-great-grandfather, Anne Marie was my great-grandmother, her daughter Marie Elizabeth was my "Irish " grandmother, and Marie Elizabeth was the mother of my late father, Bob Victor .....who I miss every day.
