William McAdam was born c. 1790 and married Elizabeth Askin in 1820 in the Church of Ireland, Kilmoremoy Parish.
They had three daughters in Ballysakeery before emigrating sometime between 1825 and 1830.
They ended up in New York State, possibly by way of Canada.
