Abbey House is located in Athlone in the civil parish of St Mary's in County Westmeath.
The house was built in 1893.
The house is situated close to the River Shannon and to the 17th century Obseventine Franciscan Church and Convent.
The house has been maintained to an excellent standard and is still occupied today with many of the original features still intact.
