Ashgrove House is located in the civil parish of Kildimo in Co. Limerick.
The house comprises two-storeys and was built around the year 1800.
It is unusual in that it has two-storeys, as most of the thatched houses of this size have either been destroyed or re-roofed with other materials.
The presence of outbuildings (which are roofed with corrugated iron) suggests that the function of this building was that of a farm house.
The thatched roof of Ashgrove House has been preserved to a good standard.
