Ballydownan Cottage is located in the civil parish of Geashill in County Offaly.
The cottage was built around the year 1875.
It is situated on the outskirts of the village of Geashill.
The thatched roof of Ballydownan Cottage has been maintained to an excellent standard. It also retains timber sash windows, an original feature that has been renovated.
Modern renovations saw the addition of a conservatory to the rear of the building.
Ballydownan Cottage is still in use today as a residential property.
