The chapel of the Longford Town Convent of Mercy is located in the civil parish of Templemichael in County Longford.
Construction of the Convent began in 1872 and was completed in 1874.
The Convent's Chapel was built in the style of the Gothic Revival.
It is disputed amongst researchers whether the chapel was designed by John Bourke or William Hague.
The building has been well preserved and is still in use today as a chapel.
