I enjoy seeing buildings from a different century being repurposed instead of torn down. Other generations are very interested in seeing these buildings from the past.
The Island House Flour Mill is located in the civil parish of Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
The Mill was built around 1775 and conisists of a complex of three buildings.
Renovations took place in the 1970's and the building is unusual amongst mills in that it is still in use as a workhop.
