Kells Flour Mill

The Kells Flour Mill is located in the civil parish of Kells, Co. Kilkenny.

The Mill was built in 1782 and consists of a complex of two detatched buildings and it is thought that the larger of the two buildings was constructed using materials from an earlier mill on the same site.

The original function of the complex was for the milling of corn, when it was known as Mullins Corn Mill, but it was repurposed for the milling of flour.

The Mill was decomissioned in the 1960's but the main building was renovated in 1996 to accomodate a heritage centre.
