The Newtown Thatched House is located in the civil parish of Kilkeedy in Co. Limerick.
It was built around the year 1800.
An extension was added at a later date to the north elevation.
The windows and the chimney stack are also later additions.
The thatched roof of this building is maintained to a good standard.
