Old Irish Ways Museum has an impressive collection of antique, historical and novel items dating from Pre-Famine times to more nostalgic items from our more recent past. It provides a fantastic insight into how past generations lived in Ireland.
Visitors can gain an understanding of country life including the importance of agriculture, crafts and trades and how the tools and equipment used have developed over the centuries. All items are on open display. Tours are relaxed and easily paced affording people the opportunity to gain maximum benefit from their visit.
Display areas include: RailwayPost - Office - Shop - Pharmacy - Creamery - Forge - Hardware Shop - Cobblers Shop - Wood Turning - Classroom - Kitchen come bedroom - Bar.
There is also an extensive collection of vintage tractors, as well as a large selection of old tools and oil cans.
