Thank you. My paternal grandmother (Anna Maria Miley 1882-1918) was born in Derryveagh. She and her family (James and Anna Kelly Miley, brothers Peter and Patrick) would have attended the parish church nearby. Are there any photos of an older RC church in the Kilcommock area? Would be wonderful to see.
The Old Kilcommock Church was built in 1680.
Alterations were made in 1750.
It is affiliated with the Church of Ireland.
The Old Kilcommock Church is no longer in use.
