Hi, this house belonged to my great great grandfather Robert Pearson who raised his family here. His eldest son then lived it it and then he sold it to his brother, my great grandfather Thomas Pearson in 1940/45 who then raised his children in it. His wife, Sarah sadly died of TB when she was in her 40's leaving her children behind, the youngest, June Pearson was 3. My grandmother Edith Pearson is Thomas and Sarah's daughter who was around 15 when Sarah passed. When Sarah died they had a housekeeper and had the help of Thomas's sisters. They were a bright family who highly rated education and Faith.
This is the house in Irontown, Clarlougheske (near Donegal Town) where my grandfather Pearson was born and grew up. I think it was sold in the late 1940 when my great-uncle moved to Irvinestown, Co.Fermanagh.
